Midlands-based manufacturing group UK Dies has supported new and existing customers throughout the pandemic, offering a “second to none” service whilst still adhering to Government social distancing measures.
Based in the centre of Birmingham, UK Dies can offer fast and efficient delivery of goods around the Midlands and beyond. Established over 90 years ago, the firm has developed extensive knowledge in the design and manufacture of a wide variety of precision tooling.
Because of this, they are able to offer a service that is tailored to each individual customer and their needs. They do this through their use of bespoke software which provides accurate data in order to support day-to-day planning, meet deadlines and keep their promises to their customers.
The firm has the capability to machine a variety of materials from tungsten carbide in grades G2 to G6 and all grades of tool steels including sintered to M2 and hot work H13. This is no surprise considering they have an ever-growing portfolio of 100 specialised machines.
Making the firm unique to many other manufacturers like themselves is the fact that they can work to tolerances of 3 microns and dimensions of 0.6mm. They also offer expert advice on the most suitable options depending on tool use, whilst also giving the customer the option to have their products coated. On top of this, they also provide manual CNC milling to customers who may be in need.
